Filming of Nos hommes à Fort McMurray
CARAQUET – Producer Maryse Chapdelaine and director and screenwriter Renée Blanchar are pleased to announce that ÇA TOURNE PRODUCTIONS has begun shooting its feature-length documentary NOS HOMMES À FORT MCMURRAY.
After almost a year of reflection, preparation and working closely with the participants, our dream of giving a voice to people on the front lines, in the workcamps and in homes is finally coming true!
Blanchar has met with dozens of people living the experience. Our adventures will be posted first to the documentary’s popular Facebook page. Throughout the fall and winter, you’ll be able to follow us, leave comments and share the inspiring photos and short clips that we’ll be posting on a regular basis. Our page is meant to be a forum for dialogue on the topic, but also a window into this filming adventure.
We’re keeping our promise: the documentary will be shot mainly on the Acadian Peninsula. Funders: Société Radio-Canada, the Canada Media Fund and the Province of New Brunswick.
